The Flag Raising Ceremony for Patriot Day took place on September 11th at 12:00 noon, when members of the Fort Walton Beach Police and Fire Departments and Fire Marshals joined with a large number of the local community to commemorate the events of September 11th 2001.

The flagpole, which measures 170’, is situated in Central Park in the center of Uptown Station on Eglin Parkway.
