Choctawhatchee High School Art Department and Crystal Beach Development partnered to bring this art filled festival to the community. All proceeds will fund the IB Art Program. IB Art is part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program which is a rigorous pre-university course of study offered at Choctawhatchee High School. The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

A unique, fun and FREE community sidewalk painting festival. Artists of all ages and skill levels created works of art by drawing and painting with pastels.

Saturday, May 16, 2009. Artists had from 9:00am to 3:00pm to work on their chalk drawings. The public was invited to view this art as it developed throughout the day. Finished art was be judged between 3:00 and 4:00pm. Artist awards were be announced at 4:00pm.
