How can I see a video of Tanya Short singing the National Anthem on July 2nd? I really enjoyed her song and performance at the Emerald Coast Legend Talent Finals. I hope you will have her do many more events, she seems talented and fun to watch.

We would love to have that too. The Daily News planned to have a videographer make a movie of Tanya singing the National Anthem, but at the last moment he was called to another story. We didn’t have time to arrange a substitute. We know that someone did take a movie, so we’ll try and get hold of that.

We did mention to Tanya that we’d like her to sing the National Anthem at future Flag Raising Ceremonies this year, so we’ll see if that can be arranged.

My father served 35 years in the Air Force, 25 years civil service, and lived here since 1958. He would have loved to see the ceremony, just as I did, I hope he was able to see it in spirit. It will be a tradition every 4th July for my friends and family. Thanks to everyone who particpated, and Tanya Short for making it extra special.
