What do you have at Stations?  You got it! – Trains.  And Uptown Station has its very own Mini Express just for kids.

Come and enjoy a ride on the Uptown Express.

Driven by our specially trained Conductor and Driver, Miss Scarlet, the Uptown Express makes trips all around Uptown Station on its own tracks.

Starting out from the Train Station at Central Park, the Express winds its way round the kid’s playground, the Giant Flagpole (at 175′, it’s the tallest in the whole of Florida) and then on around past all our fabulous stores and restaurants.

Tickets are just $1 available from Miss Scarlet, the Conductor.

On special events the Express Train has a special schedule as you’d expect, but the rest of the year it keeps to it’s own timetable.

Between March 20th and September 20th the train runs on Wednesday through Sunday.

Wednesday – Friday 4 pm – 8 pm

Saturday 12 pm – 8 pm

Sunday 12 pm – 6 pm

From September 22nd to March 19th The Express timetable is:

Friday 4 pm – 7 pm

Saturday 12 pm – 8 pm

Sunday 12 pm – 6 pm.

The Central Park Kid’s Playground is a haven for families. It’s just by the Train Station and kids can run, jump. climb, roll, slide, bounce …. well, whatever they want to do a in a safe and fun environment. The free Playground is exclusive to Uptown Station’s Central Park and a great place to play before and after shopping.

By the Village Green, across from Florida’s Tallest Flagple are the Central Park Magic Fountains. From April 1st, they jump up from secret springs just when you’re not expecting them!  You might get wet – but that’s the fun.

The fountains are great place for kids to cool off and great place for families to relax
